Paul Geertsema is an Associate Professor of Accounting and AI at Vlerick Business School. He specializes in applying advanced AI and machine learning approaches to solve problems in accounting, finance, and business valuation. Prior to joining Vlerick, he served as a Senior Lecturer in Finance at Auckland Business School (2014–2024). His research focuses on generative AI’s impact on real-world business applications, including valuation modeling and sustainability practices.
