Paul D. Ocheje is a Professor at the University of Windsor's Faculty of Law, specializing in international and property law. He joined the faculty in 2000, bringing prior experience from Nigeria's University of Benin Law School and Kano State Ministry of Justice. His research focuses on legal frameworks for human rights, global governance, and socio-economic development in Africa.
His scholarly work examines how law intersects with social justice, including forced evictions, anti-corruption legislation, and accountability mechanisms in post-colonial contexts. He teaches courses in property law, access to justice, and development law, emphasizing critical analysis of legal systems.
Dr. Ocheje holds law degrees from Ahmadu Bello University, University of Benin, and Osgoode Hall Law School. He is dual-qualified in Nigeria and Canada.
