Paul Bursik is a Professor of Business Administration – Finance and Financial Management at the Schneider School of Business & Economics of St. Norbert College. He has been a faculty member since 1990, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in corporate finance, investments, personal finance, and financial markets and institutions. Bursik served as director of business administration during the formative years of the Schneider School and held several endowed chairs in the business department.

His research focuses on behavioral finance and sports economics, exploring how human decision-making diverges from standard economic theory and applying these insights to financial markets and sports-related economic phenomena. Publications include regional and national journals such as the Journal of Sports Economics and the Journal of Quantitative Analysis in Sports, as well as a book chapter on behavioral economics in the NFL.
Professional Affiliations: Active member of the Northeast Wisconsin Chapter of Financial Executives International, American Finance Association, Financial Management Association, and Midwest Finance Association. He has contributed to college governance on salary, benefits, and retirement plan monitoring.
