Paul Anandan

Dr. Paul Anandan is a Researcher in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Loughborough University. His work focuses on AI-driven control systems, robotics, and modular manufacturing systems. He holds a PhD in Manufacturing Engineering (2014–2018) from Loughborough, following a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering (University of Greenwich, 2010) and a Bachelor’s in Electronics & Instrumentation (Anna University, 2008).

His research integrates artificial intelligence with industrial processes, including reinforcement learning for crystallization control and automated robotic manufacturing cells.
