Paul Adlerstein is an Associate Professor of History at Colorado College, where he joined in 2018. He holds a PhD in History from Georgetown University (2014) and a B.A. from Brandeis University (2004). Previously, he taught at Harvard University's History and Literature program. His research focuses on progressive/left international movements, global inequality, and neoliberalism. He currently serves on the Board of Advisers for the History and Political Economy Project and collaborates with Justice Is Global on diaspora network analysis for progressive internationalism.
His teaching includes courses on 20th-century U.S. history, the Great Depression, New Deal era, international political economy, and the Global Cold War. His first book, *No Globalization Without Representation*, examines U.S. activists' challenges to neoliberalism from the 1970s to the 1999 WTO protests. His new project, *Our Country Is The World: A Global History of the U.S. Left*, traces U.S. progressive internationalism from the republic's founding to today.
