Patty Doran

Patty Doran is a Research Fellow in the Manchester Urban Ageing Research Group at the University of Manchester. She investigates healthy ageing, spatial justice, and community support using mixed methods and co-production approaches with older adults.

Current research projects:

• Ageing in Place in Cities (international comparative study across 7 cities)
• Developing age-friendly communities and faith-based social infrastructure
• Addressing social exclusion during COVID-19

Her work has received the Making a Difference Award for societal impact (2022) for research on community-centered interventions during the pandemic.
