Pattie Maes is the Germeshausen Professor of Media Arts and Sciences at the MIT Media Lab and holder of the 2025 ACM Lifetime Achievement Award in Human-Computer Interaction. Her research bridges Human-Computer Interaction, Artificial Intelligence, and Neuro-Biological Engineering to explore how digital systems can augment human capabilities in memory, decision-making, and wellbeing.
