Patti Miles

Dr. Patti Miles serves as the Associate Dean of Business and Professor of Management at the University of Maine's Maine Business School. She holds a Ph.D. in Operations and Supply Chain Management from the University of Texas at Arlington (2008), a Master's from Georgia Tech (1992), and a B.S. in Psychology and Military Science from Weber University (1993). With 25 years as a logistics officer in the U.S. Army, her military experience deeply informs her research.

Her research focuses on corporate accountability, executive compensation, and resilience in high-stress environments like military training and small business operations. Notable contributions include studies on Navy SEAL resilience predictors and social media's impact on rural tourism.
