Patryk Kupis

Patryk Kupis is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Szczecin, where he has been employed since 2020. His academic work focuses on legal theory, jurisprudence, and legal education, with particular expertise in Polish legal philosophy.

Dr. Kupis graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Szczecin in 2019. During his studies, he served as chairman of the Faculty Student Government Council and participated in numerous university-level collegial bodies as a student representative, demonstrating early leadership in academic governance.

His scholarly work centers on the philosophical foundations of law, with significant contributions to understanding the theories of Zygmunt Ziembiński and Stanisław Czepita. Dr. Kupis has co-organized multiple national scientific conferences on jurisprudence, including the annual "O pojmowaniu prawa i prawoznawstwa" series. His publications span legal philosophy, constitutional theory, sociology of law, and legal education, reflecting a comprehensive engagement with theoretical legal frameworks.

As an educator, Dr. Kupis conducts exercises in introduction to jurisprudence, legal logic, and theory of law. He serves as supervisor of the Discussion Stop – the Discussion Room of the Faculty of Law and Administration, and as tutor of the LexUS science club, demonstrating his commitment to student development. Prior to his academic career, he gained practical experience as an intern and assistant judge at the 8th Family and Juvenile Division of the Szczecin-Centrum District Court.

Dr. Kupis is also actively involved in faculty promotion activities, creating content for social media and producing video materials to enhance the visibility of the Faculty. His interdisciplinary work extends to the law and natural resources protection law teams, bridging theoretical legal scholarship with environmental concerns.
