Patrizia Rampino is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences and Technologies (DiSTeBA) at the University of Salento, where she has been serving since 2005. She works at the Ecotekne Center in Lecce-Monteroni, with her primary office on the Ground Floor of Building B and her laboratory activities in the Recombinant Technologies Laboratory on the Second Floor of Building A.
Dr. Rampino holds a Laurea in Biological Sciences with highest honors (110/110 cum laude) from the University of Lecce (1990), followed by a PhD in Agricultural Genetics from the University of Tuscia (2003). She obtained national qualification as Associate Professor in Applied Biology (sector 05/F1) in 2018 after serving as University Researcher since 2005.

Dr. Rampino served on the doctoral faculty for the Biology and Biotechnology PhD program at the University of Salento from 2008 to 2016, mentoring graduate students in molecular biology research.
