Patrik August Buchmüller

Prof. Dr. Patrik August Buchmüller has been Professor of Economics and Business Administration for Banking and Finance at Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) Villingen-Schwenningen since 2024. Previously, he worked as an independent consultant (2018–2024) advising financial institutions and supervisors on regulatory risk management, and held senior risk-management roles at Postbank AG, Bayerische Landesbank, and the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin).
