Dr. Patrick S. Dakum is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and serves as Chief Executive Officer of the Institute of Human Virology Nigeria (IHVN). His leadership at IHVN has enabled large-scale public health interventions including HIV testing for 8.3 million individuals and treatment programs for over 465,000 HIV patients.
