Patrick R. Warfield is Professor and Director of the School of Music at University of Minnesota. A musicologist specializing in American musical culture, he focuses on late 19th/early 20th century wind bands and popular music pedagogy.
He has delivered keynotes internationally and co-founded the Journal of Music History Pedagogy. As a public musicologist, he collaborates with performing arts organizations.
