Patrick Mullen

Patrick Mullen is Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Counseling and Special Education at Virginia Commonwealth University's School of Education. He holds a PhD in Counselor Education from the University of Central Florida and maintains credentials as a National Certified Counselor and Approved Clinical Supervisor. His research examines school counseling effectiveness, counselor education methodologies, and professional well-being in educational settings.

Research focuses on evidence-based practices in school counseling, legislative advocacy training, and factors influencing counselor burnout.
