Dr. Patrick Kelly is Associate Professor of Physics at Ave Maria University, where he has been a faculty member since 2002, joining during its transition from Ave Maria College. He is affiliated with the Department of Physics in the College of Arts and Sciences, and is based in the Saint Michael the Archangel Physics Lab, which he considers his favorite place on campus.
His educational background includes a B.Sc. (Honours) in Physics from the University of Waterloo, and both M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Toronto, with specialization in theoretical particle and gravitational physics. He completed postdoctoral studies at the University of Toronto, the Winnipeg Institute for Theoretical Physics, and MIT's Center of Theoretical Physics.
