Patrick Hsieh

Patrick Hsieh, MD, is a Clinical Professor of Neurological Surgery and holder of the Todd- Wells Professorship in Neurosurgery at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. He serves as Quality Director at the USC Spine Center and is affiliated with multiple Keck Medicine locations across Southern California. His clinical expertise focuses on complex spine surgery, spinal oncology (including chordomas and sacral tumors), and minimally invasive techniques for spinal deformities like scoliosis. Dr. Hsieh’s research spans spinal biomechanics, osteobiologics, and clinical trials for primary spinal tumors. He holds leadership roles in professional organizations and has been recognized as a Top Doctor by Pasadena Magazine and Castle Connolly. His academic contributions include over 150 peer-reviewed publications and participation in major national studies.
