Patrick Emerson

Patrick Emerson is a Professor in the School of Public Policy and the Department of Applied Economics at Oregon State University. He specializes in international development, labor economics, industrial organization, and applied microeconomics. His research focuses on child labor dynamics, corruption in developing economies, and their implications for economic development. He joined OSU in 2006 after earning his Ph.D. from Cornell University in 2000.
