Patrick Drouin is a Professor and Department Director at the Université de Montréal, based in the Faculté des arts et des sciences and the Departement de linguistique et de traduction. His research focuses on computational terminology, corpus linguistics, and the automatic acquisition of specialized lexicons. He leads major projects like the NÉONUM initiative for monitoring Quebec French neology and the Lexique entre humains et machines team exploring human-machine lexical interactions.
