Patrick Dicker

Patrick Dicker is a Lecturer in the Departments of Epidemiology and Public Health Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the RCSI University of Medicine and Health Sciences, affiliated with the School of Population Health and the Data Science Centre. His research spans biomarker discovery, clinical medicine, and public health epidemiology, including:

• Cohort studies and clinical trials in maternal-fetal medicine
• Developmental cohorts in neonates and early childhood
• Biomarker discovery in schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and oncology

Dr. Dicker serves on scientific advisory boards for the Irish Epilepsy Association and Perinatal Ireland Consortium. His teaching activities include coordinating modules in Renal & GU systems, Evidence-Based Health, and lecturing on research methodologies for medical students.
