Dr. Patrick Charchar is a Researcher in the School of Engineering at RMIT University, specializing in the Materials Modelling and Simulation Group. His research focuses on the physics-based molecular modeling of biomolecules and nanomaterials, particularly their interfaces in biomedical and industrial contexts. He holds a Postdoctoral Fellow position and supervises Master's and PhD students in topics like protein misfolding and aggregation phenomena. His work integrates computational and experimental approaches to advance nanomaterial design for drug delivery, biosensors, and contamination-resistant surfaces.
