Patrick Boucheron is a French historian and Professor at the Collège de France since 2016. He previously held academic positions at the École normale supérieure (1994–1999) and the University of Paris (1999–2016), where he became a full professor in 2012. His work bridges medieval history with contemporary societal issues, emphasizing transnational perspectives and the political role of historical narrative.
