Patricia Tanner

Patricia Tanner is a Teaching Professor of Analytics at Indiana Tech's College of Business. She holds M.S. (2002) and B.S. (2000) degrees in Software Engineering and Information Systems from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Her professional experience includes 8 years as an adjunct and Professor of Practice at Indiana Tech, ownership of Prism Medical Systems (software consulting), 14 years in clinical research and healthcare compliance at Johnson & Johnson, and roles in IT departments at Central Soya and Lincoln National Life Insurance. She is the first woman certified as an IBM repair technician (1983).

Her pedagogical approach emphasizes demystifying technology through practical application.
