Patricia Steinert

Patricia Steinert, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where she also serves as Executive Scientific Director of the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research (CIBMTR). Her leadership at CIBMTR involves overseeing registry operations, data governance, and international research collaborations focused on hematopoietic cell transplantation and cellular therapy outcomes.

Dr. Steinert's research examines:

• Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation trends and outcomes
• Disparities in transplant access by race/ethnicity
• Sickle cell disease curative therapies
• Real-world evidence for cellular therapies
• Health economics of transplant care
• Registry data methodology development

Her publication portfolio demonstrates extensive work in transplant epidemiology, with recent studies analyzing national trends in cellular therapy utilization and outcomes across diverse patient populations.
