Patricia Sanchez-Connally serves as an Associate Professor in the Sociology & Criminology Department at Framingham State University and Assistant Coordinator of the RAMS 101 Program.
Her academic credentials include a Master’s in Applied Sociology from UMass-Boston and a Ph.D. from UMass-Amherst, building expertise in critical sociological frameworks. Research interests span Race and Ethnicity, Latinx Studies, Higher Education Attainment, and Immigration, with current focus on how first-generation multiethnic Latinx students navigate identity, belonging, and exclusion within campus cultural organizations at predominantly white institutions.
