Patricia Lopez-Sanchez

Patricia Lopez-Sanchez is an Associate Professor (docent) in Food Structure/Function and a researcher at the Department of Food and Nutrition Science, Chalmers University of Technology. She holds a MSc in Chemistry from the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain) and a PhD in Food Science and Technology from Chalmers University. With eight years as a corporate scientist at Unilever R&D (The Netherlands) and four years as a postdoctoral fellow at the Centre for Nutrition and Food Science, University of Queensland (Australia), her research focuses on applying material science approaches to improve plant-based food sustainability and functionality.
