Patricia Leek is a Senior Lecturer I in the School of Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Texas at Dallas since 2001. She holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with Linguistics from the University of North Texas (2000) and an M.A. in Liberal Arts and Music from Southern Methodist University (1991).

Research Focus: Specializes in reading education, children’s literature, and diversity in education.
