Patricia A. Cahill is an Associate Professor in the Department of English at Emory University. She specializes in Shakespeare, early modern literature, and drama, with a focus on military technology, mathematics, animal matter, and affect theory. Her current research includes studies on Black Shakespearean performance in the Jim Crow South and the affective dynamics of early modern stage properties like animal skins.
