Patricia Brown

Dr. Patricia Brown is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at Crean College of Health and Behavioral Sciences, Chapman University. Joining the staff in 2014, she specializes in neurologic physical therapy, focusing on balance, fall risk reduction, vestibular rehabilitation, and stroke recovery. Her clinical expertise is complemented by research on reactive postural control and Parkinson’s disease rehabilitation.

Dr. Brown teaches courses such as General Medicine Practice Management, Neurological Practice Management, and Advanced Practice Management: Differential Diagnosis in Neurology. Her recent scholarly work includes a 2022 publication on aquatic therapy for Parkinson’s patients.

She holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Western University of Health Sciences and a Bachelor of Science from California State University, Long Beach. Dr. Brown is a licensed physical therapist in California and certified as a Clinical Specialist in Neurology.
