Patricia A. Rodriguez

Patricia A. Rodriguez is an Adjunct Professor in the Civil and Urban Engineering Department at New York University Tandon School of Engineering, where she teaches courses such as Timber and Masonry Structures, Structural Engineering, and Structural Design. She also serves as a faculty member at New York City College of Technology in the Construction Management & Civil Engineering Technology Department. With over 20 years of experience as a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in New York and New Jersey, she specializes in structural engineering, focusing on the rehabilitation, conversion, and renovation of existing buildings.

Her research interests include seismic design, structural resilience, and construction management. Previously, she worked as a Project Manager at Weidlinger Associates (now Thornton Tomasetti) and GACE Consulting Engineers, overseeing structural investigations, designs, and coordination for high-profile projects such as the modernization of the United Nations General Assembly and Conference Building.
