Dr. Pat Engebretson is an Associate Professor and Coordinator for the PhD in Cyber Operations Program at Dakota State University's The Beacom College of Computer & Cyber Sciences. He previously served as Dean of The Beacom College (2020-2023), Chief Information Officer at East River Electric, and held roles in the U.S. Department of Defense focusing on cybersecurity. His expertise spans cybersecurity fundamentals, penetration testing, malware analysis, and ethical hacking.
