Pascal Dupuy is a Lecturer in Modern History at the University of Rouen, France. He serves as Vice-Dean in charge of International Relations (since 2021) and Head of Teaching at the Humanities and Social Sciences Department (since 2012). His research focuses on European satirical imagery surrounding the French Revolution and its transnational impact, particularly in Britain. He has held leadership roles including Co-director of the History Department (2014–2018) and has been involved in academic governance at the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences.
His extensive publications include books and articles analyzing caricature, revolutionary imagery, and transnational historical perceptions. Notable works explore the French Revolution’s reception in Britain, Napoleonic-era satire, and the role of visual culture in political discourse. He has curated exhibitions such as *L’arme à l’œil. Napoléon et la caricature* and contributed to academic journals like *Annales Historiques de la Révolution française*.
Active in academic networks, he is a member of the Interdisciplinary Research Team on the Satirical Image (since 1994) and the Cultural Council of 106 (Rouen’s contemporary music hall). His work bridges historical methodology with visual and cultural studies, emphasizing the intersection of art and political history.
