Pascal Del’Haye

Pascal Del’Haye serves as a Professor at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and leads the Microphotonics Research Group at the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light, a role he has held since January 2024 as confirmed by FAU’s LMQ People Spotlight (October 2024).

His research spans critical quantum domains:

• Microphotonics and integrated photonic circuits
• Quantum sensing and metrology
• Broadband optical spectroscopy techniques
• Light-matter interactions in quantum systems

Recent work includes developing an innovative broadband spectroscopy method (October 2024) with Dr. Shuangyou Zhang and Toby Bi, advancing applications in quantum technology. He actively contributes to the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQ) 2025 through collaborations with the Deutsches Museum Nürnberg’s Zukunftsmuseum.

As a core member of FAU’s Profile Center Light.Matter.QuantumTechnologies since August 2024, he strengthens Erlangen’s position in quantum research infrastructure and education.
