Pascal Borry is a full professor at KU Leuven's Faculty of Medicine, Department of Public Health and Primary Care. He chairs the department and is affiliated with multiple institutes including DigiSoc – KU Leuven Institute for Digital Society, Leuven.IRD (rare diseases), LISCO (single-cell omics), and LISS (sports sciences).

His research focuses on the ethical, legal, and social implications of genetics and genomics, particularly in reproductive screening, gene therapies, and research integrity. Recent publications address deception in research ethics, genomic data sharing, and expanded carrier screening challenges. His work spans empirical bioethics studies, policy analysis, and clinical implementation frameworks.
He contributes to teaching through courses like Human Genetics, Ethics and Policy; Research Ethics seminars; and Clinical Bioethics Training. His leadership roles include chairing the Maatschappelijke Gezondheidszorg en Eerstelijnszorg department and serving on KU Leuven's Faculty Board of Medicine.
