معرفی
Parth Panchmatia is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Kansas State University's College of Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering Materials from Purdue University (2017), an M.S. in Civil Engineering from Purdue (2013), and a B.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology.
His research focuses on concrete materials and robotic applications in construction, including:
- Concrete formulations incorporating recycled aggregates and industrial by-products
- Materials for oil/gas well construction and abandonment
- Alkali-activated cementitious materials
- Magnetorheological cementitious materials
- Concrete for nuclear power plants requiring radiation resistance
Prior to joining Kansas State, Panchmatia conducted postdoctoral research in petroleum engineering at the University of Texas at Austin, where he developed cementing solutions for well construction. He has authored seven peer-reviewed journal papers and received the Estus H. and Vashti L. Magoon teaching award and ACPA concrete pavement scholarship. His research employs experimental methods to characterize material properties and develop novel applications for robotics in civil engineering.
