Parmendra Sharma

Dr. Parmendra Sharma is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Accounting, Finance and Economics at Griffith University, where he also serves as a member of the Griffith Asia Institute. He holds a PhD in Banking and Financial Economics from Griffith University. His research focuses on banking and finance in developing and emerging Asia-Pacific markets, particularly in the Pacific region, with an emphasis on strengthening policy-making capacities through collaborations with central banks and government ministries.

Key affiliations include the Griffith Asia Institute and leadership roles in the Pacific Islands Centre for Development Policy and Research (PICDPR).
