Parker Edwards

Dr. Parker Edwards is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Florida Atlantic University (FAU). He joined FAU in August 2023 after serving as a Robert and Sara Lumpkins Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Notre Dame's Applied and Computational Mathematics and Statistics Department. His research focuses on quantifying shape in high-dimensional data through interdisciplinary approaches combining topological data analysis (TDA), applied algebraic geometry, and machine learning. He holds an MSc in Mathematics & Foundations of Computer Science from the University of Oxford (2016) and a PhD from the University of Florida (2020).
