Paris Vogazianos is an Associate Professor and Vice Chairperson in Research Methods and Statistics at the European University Cyprus, School of Humanities, Social and Education Sciences, Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. in preventive medicine and epidemiology from the University of Masaryk (2004), a Postgraduate Diploma in Actuarial Sciences from Heriot-Watt University (1998), and a B.Sc. in Mathematics from Southampton University (1996). His employment history includes positions at Stremble Ventures LTD as a Senior Statistician and at the University of West London as an Assistant Professor of Quantitative Methods.
His research focuses on Medical Statistics, Public Health Epidemiology, and Behavioral Sciences, with specialized interests in occupational health, maternal wellbeing, mental health interventions, and oncology biomarkers. Research methodologies span clinical validation studies, longitudinal surveys, and randomized controlled trials across diverse populations.
Vogazianos has contributed to numerous EU-funded projects including Horizon 2020's VACCELERATE (COVID-19 vaccine research) and iBorderCtrl (AI border security), serving primarily as a researcher. Current professional activities include membership on the Cyprus National Bioethics Committee for clinical trials review.
