Paolo Sachet

Paolo Sachet is a historian specializing in the intellectual and religious history of the Modern Era, with a focus on the 15th–16th centuries. He teaches the History of Switzerland in the Modern Era at the University of Milan and holds a postdoctoral position at the Institute of Historical Research (IHR) as an Ambizione fellow.

His research explores the intersection of book history, Church policy, and the transmission of ancient texts, particularly patristic works. Recent projects include a monograph on papal printing practices (1555–1587) and the AGAPE database of Greek patristic editions (1460–1600).
