Paolo Melindi-Ghidi is an Associate Professor at Aix-Marseille University (Aix-Marseille School of Economics, AMSE) and Director of the LEA Master's program at the Faculty of Arts, Letters, Languages, and Human Sciences (ALLSH). He holds an HDR (Habilitation to Supervise Research) from Paris-Nanterre University (2022) and a Ph.D. in Economics from the European Doctoral Program at the Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium (2012). His research focuses on Population Economics, Environmental Economics, Political Economy, and Dynamics of Inequality, alongside interests in Macroeconomics, Labor Economics, and Public Economy. He co-leads the Job Market Placement Office at AMSE and serves on the Conseil National des Universités (CNU) Section 05 until 2027.
