Paolo Caffoni

Paolo Caffoni is a Researcher in Art History and Media Philosophy at the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design (HfG). He is a doctoral candidate in the KIM Research Group for Critical AI Studies, focusing on translation practices between media and the societal impacts of machine learning in education. His dissertation, *A Pedagogy of Machines*, explores how technology intersects with social, economic, and cultural domains. Caffoni holds studies in Literature, Semiotics, and Curatorial Studies from Milan, and is a faculty member at NABA (New Academy of Fine Arts Milan). He co-founded the Berlin-based publishing house Archive Books and contributed to the Yinchuan Biennale 2018. His research bridges critical theory, media philosophy, and curatorial praxis, addressing emerging technologies' ethical and pedagogical dimensions.
