Paolo Berti is a Lecturer in the Department of Humanities at Ca' Foscari University of Venice. He graduated in Art History from the University of Siena, earned a diploma from the School of Specialization in Historical and Artistic Heritage at the same university, and holds a PhD from Sapienza University of Rome. His research focuses on creative practices connected to new media, digital cultures, locative media, critical theory, and game studies.
As a contemporary art historian and media theorist, Berti has published extensively on digital and public humanities. He is the author of the forthcoming book Estetiche della geolocalizzazione. Pratiche artistiche e media locativi (Sapienza University Press, 2025) and contributes to the
- International Journal for Digital and Public Humanities
- Venice Centre for Digital and Public Humanities (VeDPH)
