Dr. Paola Ruggiero is a Lecturer in Disordered Systems within the Department of Mathematics at King’s College London, part of the Faculty of Natural, Mathematical & Engineering Sciences. She holds a PhD from SISSA (2019) and a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Geneva (2019–2021) before joining King’s in 2021. Her research focuses on quantum many-body systems, emphasizing entanglement measures in disordered and out-of-equilibrium contexts, hydrodynamic theories, and conformal field theory applications.

The QuEHST project (2024–2027), funded by EPSRC, advances emergent hydrodynamics in quantum many-body systems. She collaborates internationally on topics like full counting statistics and Luttinger liquid models.
