Paola Polselli is a Contract Professor at the University of Bologna's Department of Educational Sciences, affiliated with the School of Psychology and Educational Sciences. She holds a PhD in Languages, Cultures, and Intercultural Communication from the University of Bologna (2010-2011), supervised by Daniela Zorzi. Her expertise spans Italian as a Second Language (L2) education, language teacher training, and institutional communication strategies.
Her research focuses on applied linguistics, including the integration of new technologies in language teaching, multilingual classroom practices, and academic/professional writing. She has coordinated programs and taught courses on L2 pedagogy at the University of Bologna since 2012, alongside roles at institutions like CILTA and the University Language Center.
Polselli has participated in major research projects such as the ELIA Project (2007-2009) and the Linguistic Minorities Project (2004-2008). Her work extends to professional training for healthcare and administrative operators in clear communication with non-native speakers. She currently advises on multilingual education initiatives and lab activities related to oral language teaching in diverse classrooms.
