Dr. Panayiotis Tsokanas is a postdoctoral researcher at KU Leuven's Structural Composites and Alloys, Integrity and Nondestructive Testing (SCALINT) unit. His work focuses on composite materials, fracture mechanics, and structural integrity assessment.

His research explores delamination mechanisms, adhesive bonding, and nondestructive evaluation using advanced imaging techniques. Recent projects include 3D tomography analysis of composite failures and sustainable recycling methods for fiber-reinforced polymers.
