Panagiotis Loukopoulos is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at the University of Strathclyde's Strathclyde Business School. Previously, he taught at the University of Limerick and worked in accounting consulting roles, gaining practical problem-solving experience. His research focuses on the intersection of empirical corporate finance and accounting, including IPO performance, executive compensation, political risk, earnings management, and audit risk. His work has been recognized with awards such as the Best Paper Award at the Young Finance Scholars’ Conference (2018) and Seed Funding from Kemmy Business School.
