Panagiotis Angelopoulos

Panagiotis Angelopoulos is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Performing and Media Arts at Cornell University and an Institute for European Studies (IES) Faculty Associate. He specializes in interdisciplinary approaches to performing arts and media studies.

Education:

• 2005: Research Sufficiency Degree in PhD Programme in Performing Arts (Autonomous University of Barcelona, UAB, in collaboration with University of Barcelona, UB, and Theatre Institute of Barcelona)
• 2003-2000: Master’s in Performing Arts (Autonomous University of Barcelona and Barcelona Theatre Institute, with Excellent final dissertation)
• 1982-1985: Drama Art School of Athens "Karolos Koun" (outstanding academic performance)
• 1984-1986: Diploma in Education (Maraslios Academy, with grade B)
• 1982-1984: Second Course in Chemistry Faculty (University of Athens)
• 1979-1983: Third Course in Electrical Engineering (Polytechnic School of Patras, Greece)

His research interests span performing arts, media studies, interdisciplinary art forms, and digital media. As an educator, he contributes to undergraduate and graduate programs while maintaining associations with Cornell's IES and performing arts initiatives.
