Pan Yuchen is an Assistant Research Fellow and Deputy Director of the Global Development and Belt and Road Initiative Research Center at Shandong University (Weihai). He holds a PhD in Economics and has completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the field. His research focuses on industrial chain reconstruction, Belt and Road economic cooperation, and regional development. He teaches courses including International Trade, China's Foreign Trade, and Microeconomics.
His academic achievements include over 20 CSSCI-indexed papers and two monographs. Key works explore topics such as industrial chain resilience under the Belt and Road framework, dual-pillar financial regulatory frameworks, and East Asian regional economic governance under the RCEP. He has hosted a National Social Science Fund post-project and a Shandong Provincial Social Science Fund project, and participated in major national-level research initiatives.
Pan Yuchen's research has been supported by grants including the National Social Science Fund and provincial-level funding. His work emphasizes policy-oriented analysis, with contributions to understanding global value chains, regional economic integration, and China's strategic investments along the Belt and Road.
