Dr. Pamela Wright is a Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Science, Athena Institute of Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Her research focuses on interdisciplinary topics including autism in labor markets, healthcare access for marginalized groups, disability studies, and gender-related challenges. She has published peer-reviewed articles on autism diagnosis trends, sexual abuse experiences of disabled women in Zimbabwe, and healthcare infrastructure in Vietnam.
Her work bridges public health, social policy, and clinical practice. Notable contributions include analyzing labor market barriers for individuals with autism and evaluating primary healthcare systems in developing regions.
