Pamela Rosato

Dr. Pamela Rosato is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Dartmouth's Geisel School of Medicine. She leads the Rosato Laboratory, established in July 2020, located in the Rubin Building at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. Her research focuses on the biology of tissue-resident memory T cells (T_RM) in antiviral immunity and cancer immunotherapy.

Her primary research investigates:

• T_RM functions in the brain microenvironment
• Repurposing virus-specific T_RM for brain tumor immunotherapy
• Role of T_RM in oncolytic viral therapy outcomes
• Neuro-immune interactions in cancer and infection contexts

She employs mouse models and human tissue explants to study T_RM regulation.

Publication analysis reveals consistent focus on:

• Mechanisms of T cell residency in neural tissues
• Immunotherapeutic strategies for glioblastoma
• Metabolic and functional characterization of specialized T cell subsets
• Novel approaches to modulate tumor microenvironments

She co-advises PhD student Arielle Sclar (jointly with Dr. Skorput) researching neuro-immune interactions in ocular chronic pain. The lab collaborates extensively with Dartmouth's neuroimmunology research groups.
