Pamela Marks

Pamela Marks is a Teaching Professor in the School of Molecular Sciences at Arizona State University, specializing in introductory chemistry, general chemistry, and chemistry for engineers since 1996. She has pioneered online learning methodologies and transformed her introductory chemistry course into a flipped classroom format. Dr. Marks co-authored the McGraw-Hill textbook Introductory Chemistry and previously taught at the College of St. Benedict and St. John’s University.

Her research focuses on pedagogical approaches in chemistry education and inorganic chemistry applications. Dr. Marks holds a B.A. in Chemistry from St. Olaf College (1984) and an M.S. in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Arizona (1988).
